 PS:The title is just a variant spelling of 'The lit issue'.

Hashtags trended,

Promises extended,

Penalties promised,

Justice hoped...

The string of events routine 

Sincere and feigned responses behind political banners

Yet...

It was not what it was or so they say,

Hours of delay; the last dead evidence -

Or was it murdered?

Cried out the executors,

"Conspiracies visible ", not tragedy though

No crime 1 committed; where's the killed proof?

At the bottom of the ladder with steps to the top cut,

So were the hands that groped their way up,

So were the feet on a flying rung in the sky,

One among the masses:

Her oneiric wings cut and lit,

In the stygian flames of red tape of obsequious slaves of the devil,

Guardians of the system

Of tainted chapters of history tinted with bloodstained heroism,

And guardians to them!!

Suppressed voices ,

Condemned protests,

Proclaimed antinationals,

The Y+ grade of dirty games; 

The rising smoke was confined,

How can it escape when you blind the sky?

How can the fire subside ,

When power not grief set the fire?

How can we ensure justice,

When the crime is hidden?

How can age old,sky high thorn walls be brought down,

When the rare eye that see it, they say ,is dazed by cataract?

How can you cry out unfair,

When they are not elevated to 'up per' people's standards?

How can you wipe out tears,

When you thought they were for sale?

You want evidence,

Smoking gun that you damped,

Killed by held up scrutiny?

Testified voices that were burnt?

How can ashes speak?

And it was a tale

Of the forgotten fearless

'Da' lit issue

Leaving contusions and confusions,

Before it faded...

Ashes do vanish 

The burnt lesions don't...
