Onam Diaries #Part 2

It's of absolutely no wonder that we laughed off the idea of a virtual onam celebration!Dressing up for the camera was different in a not so good way with the fact that we could have no live games or jovial talks and the probability of discomfiture and shifting eyes posing as a dark cloud.All the online meetings for preparations for the online onam celebration went on with low traffic and the calls for activities and participations were attended to ambiguously. After all,how good could a virtual celebration be?
Einstein's words,"God does not play dice",seems to be faltered in the philosophies and the daily life matters governing us. Expectations lead to us hoping we were not there in the first place .Plans,activities that go unnoticed in a lackadaisical way turns out to be the times we wished would never pass.If this is not a game of probability and a clash of extremes ,I don't know what is!
 That being said,the videos to songs to dances to..just talking face to face(or is it screen to screen?)proved itself to be a bonus,a novel experience that could pass as a standard Onam memory at school!!!
Today is the big day -Thiruvonam.With festivities confined to hearts and homes,we buckle up for another Onam of perseverance that has been damped by deluge twice to a stressed melancholy of shattered dreams and aspirations pronounced by loss of lives and the will to live,oscillating between alerts of varying hues and resisting tactile affections and renewing bonds that could otherwise take lives this year...
Yes,it is hope that leads us;

'While there's life,there's hope!'

  1. Its weirdly different to celebrate festivals in rectangles.The anxiety was visible in the line along with the optimism that you look forward in the end.Only gifted people can transact vivid emotions at the same time in limired words...
    Not to forget...Happy onam
